HCDP joins thousands statewide in Democratic census

The Democratic Census, commissioned through the Chris Bell for Governor Campaign, is the statewide effort to IDENTIFY and MOBILIZE Democrats. 

Help our Democratic candidates by calling general election voters with no primary history.  Phone bank for various candidates from the comfort of your home.  Ask three quick questions.  All you need is a phone line, an internet connection, and a get-it-done attitude.  Script and call list available online.  Chris Bell, statewide and local campaigns, and the Harris County Democratic Party will all get the data results of your phone calls.

The True Blue Action phone banking tool totally integrates all forms of traditional phone banking with one real time, live, interactive statewide phone list.  Thousands of volunteers from hundreds of campaigns all working from the same list with no duplication of effort or redundant activity.  Imagine the volunteers from a dozen campaigns ranging from Congress to Judge all calling from the same list in a single precinct.  All volunteers using scripts unique to their favorite candidate with no voter called twice (until Get Out the Vote time). 

GOAL:  Spend four hours a week phone banking.  If 500 Democrats in Harris County commit to calling for four hours a week, collectively, we will spend 2,000 hours per week or 8,000 hours every four weeks helping Chris Bell and all of our Democratic candidates to win this November.  With your help, the HCDP can identify thousands of Democrats through this effort.
